Here's my starts with J photo for this week...our youngest...Jenna! This was taken last Christmas when the cousins were all together. She's now 17 and a junior in high school. Some things she enjoys are running, violin and photography. Time just keeps flying right on by...wish it would slow down just a little...love her!
My week's favorite is the daffodils that are almost ready to bloom along the south side of the house! For the past two winters they've been really late, but this year they're right on time, reminding me that spring really is just around the corner!
This was my cuppa of choice this morning...
I have a mild addiction to iced coffee...even in the winter! It
It looks like a beautiful day out there today, so I'd better get out and get to work! We had snow yesterday morning...and might have a little more tonight, but it's not sticking around very long, which is fine with me.
I can't wait to see daffodils in bloom in the garden, a few weeks to go yet. Good photos for J this week.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, time can pass us by especially as our children grow. With ours at 27 and 25 (and living in Brooklyn), we have the photographic memories at least (with a hint of winsome at times)...Spring is near!
ReplyDeleteoh the power of caffein
ReplyDeleteI've never tried iced coffee. I usually need mine hot to warm me up after coming home from the barn. Lovely photo of your kids and cousins. Lucky you to have daffodils blooming already.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Alica.
Hugs,
JB
I don't even like hot coffee! : )
ReplyDeleteWish that beautiful would move down this way. Another cloudy day here with a few snow showers thrown in.
Looking so forward to seeing flowers poking out!
ReplyDeleteThere are snowflakes dancing in the air right now but we are to have super weather for a few days. Maybe my daffodils will start to wake up under all the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe sight of the first daffodils of the season always lift my spirits. I share your iced coffee addiction! If we are going to have an addiction that's as good as any I say.
ReplyDeleteJenna is a beauty. Daffodils are a great announcer of spring. Happy Spring Day to you!
ReplyDeleteThey grow up so fast don't they. We are supposed to get lots of rain, I hope it doesn't beat my blooming bulbs to death.
ReplyDeleteI have sure enjoyed mine this year.
I hope you have a lovely weekend. That is funny to me you drinking iced coffee when it is so cold. I drink hot coffee when it is 110 outside. :)
How I wish I could grow daffodils in my garden. We are having very hot days over here. I love both hot or ice coffee!
ReplyDeleteJenna is a beautiful young lady! I miss flowers. Something about a couple of years of yard goats and Stella digging in her last years that decimated pretty much all of my flowers. I've never tried iced coffee. Not sure about it. Thanks so much for joining me at Friday's Hunt!
ReplyDeleteI wish a could see a daffodil, right about now!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the scent of daffodils. I wait too long to plant the bulbs. Just like I did for this year's blooms. Iced coffee, huh? I have yet to give it a try. I can imagine an iced mocha. Yummm.
ReplyDeleteThe View from the Top of the Ladder
My daffodils are above ground and slowly getting there , snow has melted temps are warming up now and sunshine for a few days then rain most of out spring birds have returned as well so things are looking up ! Lovely photos . I like our Tim Horton's coffee shop iced cappuccinos or ice caps as we call them here . Thanks for sharing , have a good week !
ReplyDeleteI wish my flowers were coming up. Maybe in a month. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is also in love with iced coffee!
ReplyDeleteCoffee... the most important meal of the day. I drink a cuppa joe in the morning and 3 o'clockish in the afternoon! Hot or iced, it's a small pleasure in life we should continue to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a daughter, but love the relationship and memories I have with my Mom. As well as the current calls, texts and time we get to spend together.
Enjoy your first signs of spring!
Wonderful J's.
