Knee-high... the 4th of July!

Or so it used to be...

I'm sure there are a variety of reasons why the corn is much taller now by the 4th of July than it used to, planting dates, improved seed corn, etc...but it's definitely more than knee-high today!

Happy 4th of July!

  1. Alica I assume that is you. It is very nice to put a face with a name. Our corn is not that high around here you are about a month ahead of us.
Off to bale, just stopped after raking for lunch. B

  2. That is a great picture! A lot of the corn around here isn't quite that tall yet. It was late planting due to the weather this year.

  3. Whoa! I'd like to see who's knees that that corn is reaching! LOL Looks full and lush. Hope the rains stay with you. Happy 4th! :-D

  4. Hi Alica, Yum ....corn! It's taller than you too. I love that beautiful chicken house. Can I borrow your dad please? I'm so jealous!:)
    Have a happy day. Maa

  5. Our corn is pretty sad looking around here. It's very patchy and alot of it is not knee high yet. Not sure what it is going to do to feed prices around here. My sweet corn is to my shoulder if not over my head and taseled already.

  6. The corn looks great, glad it's doing well for you:@)

I enjoy hearing what you have to say! Thanks for your comments!
