While you are hot and humid, we in Oregon are thinking it's mid-October instead of mid-July! Rain and cloudy skies abound. I guess we are never happy with the weather we have are we? :)
The cows spend the day in the barn, with the fans on. It really feels pretty cool in there until we've had a week of this weather...then it gets pretty stuffy. They're outside overnight, and it's been cooling down nicely so far. I remember hosing a few of them down in past years when we had long stretches of this weather, but not often.
Beautiful! I'm not sure it's cooler, but it is beautiful. We have a balloon festival near here at the end of the month, and I keep thinking it would be fun to go.

ReplyDeleteHey Alicia, how are you guys keeping your cows cool. We gave ours a bath yesterday. Mostly to get ready for the fair but it also cooled them down.
