Sale Day...

This morning, Jim and I went to an Amish neighbor's sale...

This was as close as I dared to take my camera.  Well, it was in my pocket, but it stayed put!

  1. Nice photo ! We have lots of Amish farms around us as well. I love seeing them in their horse and buggies and plowing their fields with their team of Belgins ! Have a great day !

  7. When they're staying for any length of time...Church, wedding, sale, etc...they unhitch and take the horses inside the barn. Or on a nice day they'll all be together in the meadow with a bunch of hay to munch on!

  10. This brings back memories... We visited the USA a few years ago and spent some time in Lancaster, PA. What a wonderful time we had in that beautiful farmland area.
(The Amish people there told us they didn't mind the cameras at all, but didn't want us taking their faces.)
