My boyfriend and I are planning to start a homestead this year, and know we'll have our work cut out for us. :)lisa fine @ vermont vittleshttp://www.lisafine.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749684475391974742.post-49575990505552928042013-01-08T17:06:17.612-05:002013-01-08T17:06:17.612-05:00Farmers...they do more before 9 AM than most peopl...Farmers...they do more before 9 AM than most people do all day!!
You guys sure are busy but I'll bet it's a good kind of busy! There were very few times I ever beat her hanging laundry.
I love seeing your barns and everything.
Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749684475391974742.post-19084238080255575702013-01-08T11:36:32.900-05:002013-01-08T11:36:32.900-05:00Thank you so much for the "trip back home.&qu...Thank you so much for the "trip back home." It's been decades since I lived with my family on a dairy farm, and even though the work could get stinky and difficult, I still loved hanging out with the cows and cats and dogs. I loved the music of the milking machines and the scent of fresh milk. Kinda chokes me up to think about my mom and dad both gone and how very hard they worked to provide for us. Yet they loved their animals and did all they could to keep them happy.

I very much like your photo of your laundry swinging on the line. May I have permission to use it as reference for a painting? I send you a sketch for free.Leeniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17655189620056032790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749684475391974742.post-50189228838944164882013-01-08T07:04:42.477-05:002013-01-08T07:04:42.477-05:00This makes me miss growing up on the farm and rais...This makes me miss growing up on the farm and raising hundreds of head of Angus Beef Cattle!
http://theredeemedgardener.blogspot.comClint Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12125748678345517185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749684475391974742.post-36463707804645282582013-01-07T23:36:35.200-05:002013-01-07T23:36:35.200-05:00There are always cows to be fed somewhere.
